On Sep 30 2014 I filed a support request with Endomondo. Since their support system is closed and hidden behind a login wall, I have decided to replicate the request here so that other people can be aware of this problem.
When doing interval training I get an audio coach message every 200 meter. This message tells me about my pace and the remaining distance for this interval. The pace it reports is consistently much lower than what the history shows for the overall pace for the whole interval.
It is hard to document this, since the pace is only available through audio coach. An example is this workout: http://app.endomondo.com/workouts/413800058/2196888
where the reported pace after 200 meter was in the area 3:20 – 3:30, which is not what the statistics tells me.
I would really like some proper coaching!
The support request was closed on Oct 1 2014 with the comment:
I’ve just spoken with my colleague and he informed me that this problem has already been reported from other users. We’ve passed it on to our developers, who will fix the error as soon as possible.
Well, the problem still not solved. On Apr 14 2015, filed a new support request in response to the previous:
This is a follow-up to your previous request #16535 “Split pace during interval training consistently wrong”
The case was closed as fixed many months ago, but the problem is not fixed at all. I still get consistently wrong split pace.
Still no answer
